Village Dental has been in operation since 1993. The office is owned and operated by Azam Qadri DDS and Betty Qadri DDS. Both doctors are graduates of Case Dental school and are members of the American Dental Association as well as the Ohio Dental Association and the Akron Dental Society.
Village Dental offers a variety of dental services which enables the doctors to treat the entire community.
The doctors are certified as Invisalign providers and also certified in implant placement.
Our portable dental unit enables us to visit nursing homes in the area where we can treat our geriatic patients. This service is extremely invaluable as many of these patients would not be able to travel to our dental office for their basic dental care.
Azam and Betty Qadri purchased the historic building where Village Dental is located in 1993. This building was previously owned by Dr. Charles Hamel a long time dentist in the community who had retired in the 1980’s. At the time the building was empty and renovations were needed. An apartment was located on the second floor and the building was zoned with the city of Hudson as R2 which meant that the people who ran the business had to reside in the building. Azam and Betty moved upstairs, renovated the downstairs and opened Village Dental in October 1993. The building has changed over the years to accommodate both the city and the patients of Village Dental. The ramp for handicap access was added in 2003. The new colors on the outside of the building were added in 2009.
The building has been restored in keeping with the historic charm of downtown Hudson. The antique front door was custom made with a tooth engraves in the stain glass window. The wrought iron fence on the front porch has carved molar teeth as ornamental fence pole toppers. The office has recently remodeled to give the inside a historic flare.
